Yakumo’s Ainu Language Place-names

Compiled on the basis of “Santei Yakumo-cho Shi” (Third Revision of the History of Yakumo), “Sanpan Hokkaido Ezo-go Chimei-kai” (Guide to Hokkaido Ezo-language Place-names, Third Edition), “Ainu-go Chimei Risuto” (List of Ainu-language Place-names), “Hokkaido Chimei” (Hokkaido Place-names), and “Tozai Ezo Sansen Chiri Torishirabe Zu” (Geographical Map of East and West Ezo Mountains and Rivers). Ainu language transliterations are, in principle, made in accordance with the Ainu language textbook “Akor Itak” (Our Language).
